On and on the water raced,
Faster, faster, it quickened the pace,
Then suddenly, it flew up high,
Up so high it touched the sky,
Then down it went, how fast it fell,
How fast it was, it is hard to tell,
With the speed of eagles and sound of thunder,
anything in its way would surely be plundered,
Then with a tremendous splash, it was gone,
Gone, that is, with more to come
