I tenderly take your heart in my hands and kissed
My lips were blind to the stitches and the scars
The sweetness was too much for my soul to resist
That it only felt the bliss of heavenly stars
I knew it had been broken and hopelessly abused
My eyes though saw you as a precious virgin
Your heart had no blemishes and no longer bruised
My love was the skillful steady hearted surgeon
These kisses will baptize these touches will restore
The past will be erased for I see you as virtuous and pure
These words will soothe these rhymes will gift you wings to soar
The future will be bright for my love holds the cure
I tenderly take your hand in mine and we will stride
My heart will be one with yours as we move ahead
For love beats so strong on our soul’s inside
For love multiplies and so swiftly spreads
