The Well Of Secrets Poem by Kenneth Maswabi

The Well Of Secrets

the well of secrets
stand proud against time
astonishing both the noble
and peasants
quenching thirst in the shadows
where secrets lovers hide
with their mouthful
of gossip and rumours
the harbingers of both light
and darkness
with their silly lips
opening the well of secrets
secretly camouflaged
in their hearts
the treasures in their secrets
the hidden sparkling explosive gems
can make or break a war
ruining life
with their poisonous spit
or sometimes saving life
with their lightening touch
