The Whisper In Poem by Jamie Dewyer

The Whisper In

Rating: 5.0

the whisper in
discoloured skin
takes back the pull
you watch me sin

i have always felt
lonley
here in your guise
a face below a mask
to teach you fear in waves of hope
like sun setting makes you try
i close again
glass cuts still
wonder why
i've had to train
this mind to understand pain

the buddah sits
below the tree
his fate is sealed
in his sea
a change has come
to wit the free
the errored life
this capsized me

i am not for you
i am not for me
i am only real
when you see me

when i see my self
i am not afraid
i am not intune
i am disarrayed

you call from heaven
collect
debt
return

this is the way the world works
you give and you take and you pray
i have no less more than fear
to make what i say just okay
