The Whispers Of Ghosts Poem by Aimee Nell

The Whispers Of Ghosts

Days of lies and betrayal are past,
To be replaced by dreams of fire and death.
Drowning,
Burning,
Suffocating.
They all die one by one.
Their thoughts drowning in memories and regrets.
Their souls burning with sorrow.
Their hearts asphyxiating on water,
On smoke,
And on the whispers of ghosts.
