The Wind Poem by TravisNeal Williams

The Wind

Should i be so wary of things to come?
The futures not written so why should i run?
A future's wind is to twist and bend?
So should i take my turn and ride those winds?

Maybe it could take me somewhere better.
A place so grand i could live forever.
This foolish flight could be a great delight.
Carrying me deep into the night.

A future can be set in stone.
It is so much better left unknown.
Never knowing of whats to come.
All you have to do is refuse to run.
