The Wind In The Breeze Poem by Devanshi Khetarpal

The Wind In The Breeze

Rating: 5.0

The wind in the breeze is like
Life within a sea wave,
Tea within a cup,
Dreams within sweet slumber.

Happiness snatched away is like
Parchment separated from ink,
Marble separated from the floor,
Stories separated from books.

Words that come out of your heart are like
Colours that come out of the sun rays,
A destiny that comes out of your own will,
Black hair that come out of your salty-peppery noggin.

Hats that are put on your head are like
Honours that are put on a king,
Eulogies that are put on heroes,
Prayer that is put on hopes.

And what I am is hard to tell,
I'm a wind in the breeze,
A story separated from a book,
A colour that oozed out from the sun rays,
And a hat upon your very head.
