We never know
Who another person is
We don't even know
Ourselves
Fools on donkeys' backs
Cylindrically
We ride
Our judgments stuck
In the point of a lance
We charge
Hating the shadows
Of who we think they are
Not realizing these
Haunting dis-figurines
Are but the shadows
Of ourselves.
