When I wake up on a winter morning,
I look out my window to see that my surroundings have been covered by a white blanket.
I hurry to my drawer and I get out of my pajamas,
And hurry into my winter suit.
When I open the door leading to outside,
I feel as if I was just put in to a snow globe.
As I walk further out,
I can feel the cool snow gently falling on my face.
As I look up trying to catch snowflakes in my mouth,
I notice the baby blue skies with the powder white clouds.
When the snow stops falling,
I say my goodbyes to the snow,
For it will be another year,
Until I see you again.
