If a heart doesn't get what a heart wants
a heart can be hollow
in this, my very own garden of roses
I myself will say to you, my reader
there is nothing like a violent storm
to bring on the passion between two souls
two souls locked in a fate
in a garden so beautiful
that, the great raven would never chance to call
a garden so magnificent
filled with magnolia and roses
filled with perfumes
of the very love that reels through our veins
but the perfume doesn't always smell so good
does it? alas
sometimes the air
is filled with black thickened skies
with hate and with envy
but my words always my words of honor
if the firmaments could strike
your love onto me
I would lay down to die happily
in this our garden
knowing even though
it could never be
the heavens sent you to me
because I am...
the woman who chose the garden over the firmaments.
