I chose the words
They too chose me
We gravitated to each other
For all to see
They used me as a vessel
A channel for the ink
Washed right over me
Gave me the power to think
An ambivalent entanglement
It took time to grow
A relationship worth nurturing
The rhythm to my flow
My therapy
My solace
My perfect sanctuary
