My daughter, my son…
There is a long road ahead of you
Dark, forbidding and mysterious
Such is always the way of those who
Seek
But don't be afraid
Many others have gone before you
Many others have seen what you will see
And known what you will know
They have bled where you bleed
Their tears are your own
Take heart, it is all one
In the end, in the end
We are all One
Everything is as it should be
But if you should falter
Let the words of a poet
Comfort you
Bring you that feeling of
Peace
Known only in the warm embrace of a
Mother's and father's arms
The world is a wonder
A gift, after all
Let the words of a poet
Soothe you
In your moments of greatest need
For a poet will bring you
Close to all that is
Worthwhile and important in life
In the words of a poet you will find
Yourself again
And remember the place of your noble heart
With all that is good
And honest and
True.
