The World Asleep Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

The World Asleep

The world asleep
Let be a thunderous peace
Silence please!
Wake not the dreaming dawn
Until the world wakes
From the blue space of hate
Of love abandoned to fate
To a morning of unity
Free from hostility
A day her hands forbid a gun
Her face would be a new created sun
Radiating with no skin bites
Upon the face of the earth.
