I lit a flame for you
and all the little things you do
To my heart
I searched the skies
And i saw the swallows swooping low
Grasping invisible moments
Under the thatch
Lying on the couch
Feeling warm sunshine on my skin
Waiting for you to get home
And sink into my skin
And permeate the air around me
The flame still burns
Tho you asked me to put it out for you
Its still all yellow
Don't forget the silliness
Even as you cut your hair
It made the days special
