Theatrewalli Ladaki/ Theatre Girl
Train chali gayi
Aur unse bhenta nahi huyi,
Afasosa!
Melei ka dekha,
Theatre mei mili,
Daramawalli ladaki.
Jivan-drama,
Ka theatre eisa hi hota hain.
--------
The train whistled and went sway
But I could not meet, see off,
Regret!
Seen at fair,
One which met at the theatre,
The drama girl.
Life-play,
The theatre of life as such.
