Then Earth Will Turn A Paradise Poem by Dr John Celes

Then Earth Will Turn A Paradise

When sinfulness has left the earth,
All crimes will vanish from our sight;
Just angels will be born at birth,
And all can sleep in peace at night.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
The poor will get their jobs and food;
Punishments will become a dearth,
And freed will be criminals good.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
All families will praise God more;
Prevail will harmony and mirth,
And rare will be a thief or whore!

When sinfulness has left the earth,
No wars can come to destroy peace;
Just righteousness will gain much girth;
Men will obey God’s words with ease.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
The world will turn a paradise;
Of living, all will know the worth,
As people change and become wise.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
All jails will become temples fast;
Most professions will lose their filth,
As vice will be a thing of past.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
No one will want to die but live;
Each home will blaze a joyful hearth,
And all with cheer will learn to give.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
The Maker will reside in hearts,
As faces gleam with divine mirth,
And chastity will bathe all parts.

When sinfulness has left the earth,
Perhaps world’s end will come by stealth.
