There Are Many Wonderful Mysteries In The World

THE WONDER OF IT ALL

What drives the wind and where does it go?
Its very own call how does each creature know?
How does the cloud know when it should make rain?
Who taught the flowers about the season of Spring,
the bees to make honey and put the brilliance in bling?

What made the land separate from the seas?
Who invented these things we call trees?
How do birds know that they know how to fly?
Why do some good things last just for a while?
What is the power and endurance of a smile?

Who taught the waves where they ought to roll?
Where in a person is the essence called soul?
Where do the stars go when they fall from the sky?
Who can reveal the mystery behind the passing of time?
Why do some people simply follow a sign?

Why does a pet offer unswerving devotion?
Why are our lives driven by irrational emotion?
Who put the magic in a small child's smile?
How does sunlight on water sparkle each day?
Where does the mist go when it fades away?

How did the first one know chocolate can be eaten
and eggs can make omelettes when they are well beaten?
Why is silence so devastatingly loud?
Where is the edge of the universe to be found?
How does a seed know to grow when it's placed in the ground?

What drives us on with incredible pace
to advance our position as the human race?
How did we become just you and me?
Love overcomes hatred that's the one thing I know.
Light shines in darkness, love's not some feeble glow.
