There Are People Who Know Everything Poem by Reginald Reid

There Are People Who Know Everything

THE KNOW ALLS

Now don't you think it rather quaint
you're called to be the things you aint?
So many skills you're asked to share
without the training you despair,
and then as well relating to the world
unerring knowledge must be shared, unfurled.

We find the fact that there are some
A few, no not everyone,
who seem to just accommodate
all this as if encyclopaedia they ate.
No task beyond them it is true,
No fact exists they never knew.

Yes unsupposing, humble even
They breeze through life just like the seasons.
And fortunate as we all are
we get to see their shining star
as they enrich each special hour
by sharing in abundance all within their power.
