There Comes A Time Poem by Kwenadi Gaaje

There Comes A Time

Rating: 5.0

There comes a time in a maiden's life
Where life comes to quench the desires of the heart...
To dance to the melodies of her heart
The beats in her soul
To eat fruitful days of her youth

There comes a time
A time when one falls in love
Then you wish to be loved
As much as you are willing to

You grow to live in a fantasized world
Where all things seem so easy to have and to hold
You see yourself as a livingGold
That is to be treasured by the King..

You seize to know that all Kings have plates
Their hearts cannot be forced to be fed by the hands not meant to mendthe hunger in them..

Seeing yourself as a maiden that occupied the center of the King's heart
Does not makeyou a Queen
But a Maiden that feeds the King in the absence of the Queen...
