There Is Hope
There is hope for a better life
There is love within our sight
Will we open our eyes?
Or will we hate and despise?
Our pain and shame
Our name and disdain
Cannot define us
cannot control us
Because deep down
in the depths of our hearts
Lies a passion that needs waking
And it's ours for the taking
