There Is More Poem by Hazel Milnor

There Is More

Man sought survival and he survived,
he sought to surpass and he surpassed
and found travel and material possessions
but not satisfied he said,
"There must be more."
He looked in the mirror and found a
stranger. He studied the stranger and
found within
God, heavenly help, and
the promise of life eternal
and man said, "There is more."
