There Is No Mercy Now For Me Poem by Kevin Cox

There Is No Mercy Now For Me

There is no mercy now for me.
From Christ, the Saviour, I've been set free.
Much I indulged in eviel's dread;
Though I know for for my sin
His blood was shed.

How can I more His blood requite
When I in sin have full delight.
His Holy Spirit, I deny
And to my sins does my heart fly

Nothing remains but somber dread
Of Judgement, Fire, on my head.

What evil more is there in man
Than to slap away Hid nail-pierced hand.
To turn away from such a love
Is madness choking like a glove.

Sin's cruel decet has hardened me.
No more am I of those set free.
I who once walked the narrow way
Am now far down death's broad highway.

Dear brother, please hear my lament
Don't choose this path, my life is spent
Hear Him now while you still may.
Repent of sin; choose life today.
