There is always going to be a “what if” in life,
No matter what you can’t escape that,
There’s always going to be a right and a wrong,
But you have to realize everyone makes mistakes,
You just have to live with them,

Someone’s going to shed a tear when you’re you not looking,
But we’ve all done it, so there’s nothing to be ashamed of,
We all have a secret that we’re taking to the grave,
And we’ve all told a little lie that has hurt someone that we love,

I’m not saying that I’m perfect, because the truth is,
Nobody’s perfect, we’ve all second guess ourselves,
I mean I’ve done it to many times to count,
We all have a million thoughts running through our head,

At any given time, we think about scenarios that we wish would happen,
We think about our goals and dreams that will probably never come true,
But you can’t give up on what you believe in,
Because the truth is you can do anything you put your mind too,

You just have to believe that it can come true,
And who knows it just might.
