There's Hope Poem by Mulatwa Mosisa

There's Hope

When darkness surrounds
And covers all the places;
That can be strong
For someone who is hopeless
It sounds, there’s no light
There’ll no sunshine anymore
That can brighten
His future.

But if he waits and waits
If he strives some more
He will see things can change
A time will come which is more better;
A glorious day which is crowned
That bears good tidings
With beautiful sunshine
It is awaiting.

When you see darkness
Always remember
There comes behind it
A day that’s brighter;
Hold on to your faith
On the day of hopelessness
You will be helped
By unknown helpers.

When you are feeling bad
Suffering some sickness
When it is hurting you
And it is getting worse;
Please don’t give up
Thinking it has no cure
Don’t ever forget that
Hope is great healer.

If you don’t lose your hope
You’ll never fail
If you think you will win
You will never wail;
If you think you’ll find
You will get what you want
Life will honor you
At the end of the road.
