There's One Sky, But Different Sides Poem by Chelsea Frazier

There's One Sky, But Different Sides

Rating: 4.0

There's one sky,
But different sides.
For different parts of the world it can seem different,
Feel different,
Be different..

There's one sky,
But different sides.
The color of my skin,
The way I look,
Where I live
Shouldn't determine how I'm seen;
But it is.
It's also the way I'm treated.
This is me, that is you..
We are different, see the world different,
Why?
Cause we are different,
Raised different,
Different color,
Different ethic origin.

There's one sky,
But different sides.
The darker my skin,
The more chinked my eyes,
The more people,
The more looks,
The different looks of the sky.

There's one sky,
But different sides.
Shouldn't the American dream seem true,
Come true,
Be true.

There's one sky,
But different sides.
The different countries,
The different sides,
The different of lives,
But it's all under the same sky.

There's one sky,
But there will always be different sides.
