There Was Only Dementia Poem by Lia Padena

There Was Only Dementia

she had to protect all the flowers from what was coming
from the darkness
someone was hiding
there
or there
or there
in the jealousy of men she seeks
and she was going down the whole garden at her feet
and they saw nothing
they looked where she looked to scare them
manipulator
there the gardener does not look
there was only dementia
