These Demons, These Demons Poem by Melissa Miller

These Demons, These Demons

These Demons, These Demons
That are inside of me
These Demons, These Demons
They won't let me be
These Demons, These Demons
Consume my whole being they do
These Demons, These Demons
Exist way into my soul it's true
These Demons, These Demons
They won't give me no rest
These Demons, These Demons
My death is their ultimate quest
These Demons, These Demons
Have been part of me so long
These Demons, These Demons
Their pull into darkness is so strong
These Demons, These Demons
Why won't they just go away
These Demons, These Demons
Take a little more of me each day
These Demons, These Demons
My death they do crave
These Demons, These Demons
Will soon lead me to my grave
These Demons, These Demons
I just can no longer fight
These Demons, These Demons
In my death there's no light
These Demons, These Demons
Delight at my fall
These Demons, These Demons
Have finally taken my all
These Demons, These Demons
Well let me just say
These Demons, These Demons
Will soon have their way
These Demons, These Demons
To this point they have led
These Demons, These Demons
Finally gone now that I'm DEAD

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is my newest poem that I wrote and I wrote it on April 24,2022. I was just chilling at home and suddenly this poem started running through my mind so I grabbed a pencil and paper (which I try to always have close~by) and I began to write, it honestly took me about 10-15 minutes to write it from start to finish.
