These Hands Poem by Michael P

These Hands

These are the hands that joyfully held me as a baby.
These are the hands that patted me on the head and said I love you when I needed encouragement.
These are the hands that held me when I was hurt.
Theses are the hands that showed me how to work hard.
Theses are the hands that showed me the path of life.
These are the hands that rubbed my shoulder and said go ahead you'll do great.
These are the hands that clapped for me.
These are the hands that waved at me when I Ieft, and the hands that hugged me when I returned.
These are the hands that have loved and cared for all they touched.
These are the hands that have touched my heart and guided my soul.
In this moment I will passionately care for the hands that have cared for me.
