In my bed
I lay to sleep
I hope some day
These words I’ll keep
Until that day
I do foresee
Imagine I must:
You and me
That day will come
Truly I swear
I lay here thinking
Do I even dare?
If I dare
And take that chance
Our world might shatter
There would be no romance
If that were the case
I may be in trouble
Risk over time
Would surely be double
It is true
The chance I took
But it is ok
I’ll surely be with you
You see these words
These words I keep
When I hold these words
I’ll finally sleep
