These Wrists Poem by Cait Secret

These Wrists

Oh sweetheart listen to me
look at the wrists and what do you see?
Look at these wrists then say you love me...

Oh dear lover don't you see?
All I need is for you to love me...
Look into my eyes
the ones you dispise
but pretend to love

You hold me tight
You touch my cheek so sweetly
You kiss me forehead
I smile and say

'I. Love. You.'
I mean I do
Look at these wrist the ones you dispise
The wrists with scars
My wrists...
Look at these wrists and kiss them better...
Look at these wrists as they bleed so rapidly.
Look at the crimmson liquid that seeps out the veins...
Broken skin and a broken heart...

I took the abuse...
I took the pain...
I knew u never loved me...
But I still loved you...
Look at the blood...
How do you feel now?
I hope in the end you finally saw you were supposed to love me...
I hope in the end you realized I had won.
