They Always Leave Poem by Odumodu Remo

They Always Leave

Tarry, perharps for eternity to conclude
That that which you think you have is yours
Perchance love, friendship, wealth

We were young and i would give anythinng
For our friendship
Suddenlly statuos elevation came
He left, i got forgotten completly

I would back him with utmost care
He was seasons less after myself
Now we are grown and brothers
The difference hidden
Suddenlly statuos elevation came
I hardly exists, not in his mind

I met her, actually two of them
One before the other
I felt desire matrialised
The love was beautiful
At those moment nothing else matterd
But a continual clingging unto their bossom
And my arms wrapped around them

I have seen him, yes in affluence
Affluence leaves too
Ask your mother.
