They Come Every Night Poem by joshua madiba

They Come Every Night

Rating: 5.0

They come every night.
And when they come.
He sleeps not at all.
Screams of a night fool,
that they walk on iron bars.
As fast as night lightening.
Quit as the quill.
To eat his nights all.
They come every night.

He shows the fear in his eyes.
He shows the agony he has.
They leave him awake in the night.
He sleeps not at all.
Screams of a night fool.

He shows the fear in his eyes. He shows the agony he has. They leave him awake in the night. He sleeps not at all. Screams of a night fool. the experience of terror expresses so masterfully well. tony
