You Don't Know Poem by joshua madiba

You Don't Know

Do you know how it pains.
When you don't have a person who loves you.
The first rejects you.
The second puts you on hold.
She says you should wait,
but ever pressing her lips with another man.
Beneath the tears of my soul.
That the night is only left to slay with me.
That the winters cover my warmth.
That the ancestors bemoan in their tombs.
why is love hiden from me
that they change when they meet me.
