They Do Not Know Poem by Bianca Brooks

They Do Not Know

They do not know.
Some days I cry, hoping to die.
They do not see.
The tears I cry, I'm living a lie.
They do not know.
The wounds I own, run deep to the bone.
They do not see.
The hope I once had, but now it's leaving me.
They do not know.
Every day I put on a smile and pretend it's my own.
They do not see, they do not know.
