They Say About... Poem by Majid Gaggi

They Say About...

They say about you spring
You and what a spring
In this time and place
There is no green on ground
Nor flowers blossomed
It perfume fragrance
filled the space of the place
It tones and songs
Joy and fun sang
You are not best than autumn
Not even the saddest of autumn
Here in space and time
We no longer see and hear and smell
Good things
But we see only
The atrocities of painful Photos
The hum of voices and arms and clap
Foul odors of gunpowder
Destruction and devastation, fires
Instead of construction and reconstruction and gardens
Behold, your days are all colorful and
Smeared with the blood of the innocent
Tears of the wretched and helpless
Widows, orphans and bereaved
Everyone here dreams of hope
And a promising future
What was yesterday united?
We see today may broke in
It has split divided and fragmented
Everyone walks and walks
In the way of vague without guidance
Ah, how far you are, O
Hope for achieving the desired objectives
You are like the far of the sky
After that he has given us, ghoul
who attend and came to us
Everyone was injured
In One way or another
And tasted the bitterness and misery
By the fire and its blaze
No woman or child remained
Only calamity afflicted
Here Cain had sent
In our time and our place
So many Abel and incorruptible and kills
Because of various pretexts
How near to us you are
O, O death
Lord gives us mercy
When these bad things ends
This darkness night will vanish
And instead of smelling gunpowder
We will smell Perfume and fragment of roses
Instead of hearing bullets whiz
We will hear only melodious tones and echo
