They Say By: Duncan Wyllie Poem by Leah Johnston

This is one of my new favorite poems. It is by a dear friend that maybe you all know. I am sort of biased since it was written for me but just thought I'd share.

They say her head's way up in the clouds
Too far for some to reach
But when she's there
She finds her world
And all that it would teach
For dreaming brings her heart to life
It's born on days like these
When skies no-limitations found
Her dreams are what she sees
Just a simple girl of heart
Who shines for those afar
A dreamer in a darkened world
Who glistens like a *STAR*
