They That Ferry Poem by Fred Rik Kesner

They That Ferry

'digital ferrymen'

our glow warms your midnight face,
notifications hurble* like distant waves.

on your display we breathe—
bright and vibrant, happy and sad words—
each slick tap a ripple in your thoughts.

we carry your poems beyond isolation,
through verses offering wonders—
universal truths glimpsed in ink and pixel.

Voyage.

a bookmarked line becomes your boarding pass;
we guide you across digital seas
from doubt to hope,
safer aboard our verbose vessel.

we will always remember
your name.

.
NOTES:
*hurble - from burble, which is akin to bubble, a bit of an auditory hurdle
