They that could impact
positively to core academic life —
Awards, they are.
Local, departmental, college, or university level, they are.

National —
just universities within Naija alone, they are.

Regional —
just universities in West African countries, they are.

Continental —
just universities in the African continent, they are.

Intercontinental, they are.
International — or for short,
Global — that is, all universities in the world, they are.
Super are.

Those who are neither here,
nor there,
nor there...
Are they?

My dear,
properly stated:
they are not,
and can never be.

Final verdict:

They are they
that wasted academic years,
that cheated the system,
and got nothing to show.
