They Were There - Poem by vidyut chakraborty

I write poetry
am I a poet?
some words are bunched
no feelings outburst
Days gone by
what do I set!
If feelings come out
there is 'Me'
that can't touch whosoever
and can't be said poetry.
Still I write
but don't read
what they wrote
for me
Time couldn't ditch
the invaluable 'They'-
so they are there in history.
