Things To Say Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

Things To Say

Rating: 4.5

Surprised
falling, into
you opening
me past rebirth's
portals. Once forgotten
memories; little mouthing s
first scents sweetness's
swaying winds, bared
within this heart's
latest rattling's.
In séance hearing
those nights all alone
following falling starry
willfully wishing' upon
early rains, and quiet
fish ponds. Dreamy
cloudy awakening
journeys ascending
one's protective Taygetos
while avoiding that potential
Cadaeas. Harbinger, you of the
voicing that sees through a further
opened; 'doorway' expressing all ways
with many more 'things' to say...

COMMENTS OF THE POEM
Denis Mair 24 August 2020

You convey an eager exchange of confidences: we are swept down a word river which gathers in so many remembered moments. We become that momentum, as many inexpressible and uncanny moments are woven into the atmosphere of what we communicate.
