In The Awe Of The Universe - Poem by Michael Walkerjohn

every message needs
both a clarifying theme
and, an exemplifying diatribe
must describe either infinite beauty
that may be seen, and or, that horrid reality
however insanely explained …
In separation, as an illusion, and labelled as destiny
chasing and seeing the divine in your being
such energies flowing into your moments
building a self-worth in that instant
which beckons your truth…
All shames removed, you become
a force, charged with a capacity to see
worth in the essence, of all other lifeforms
that vessel drawn from the awe of time, one
existence bound, in the ideal of awareness, free
to one day soon, become the universal seeker, the
ultimate teacher; that shadow, willing sharing in life's
lessons, as that spiraling arrow, from beyond the depths
of all space and all time…
These equations so cast, held in vivid circumstance
and in the images of feeding living's divinity
cease, as irony bleeds this from that one
for the world will not understand
but, in an all-encompassing
questioning sees your
worth as having
an eternal
one that
branches out
and gains sense of
all that is inside, everyone
what is in and of you that creates
this ability; to be used most certainly
in form and number of designed desires
of that normal taste for holding power
for the future is feared by those who
pull back time in mind and space
to sate a different master…
You ask the question
can something be
considered so great
and not hold the key
to one becoming that
perfect, infinite being?
My most simple answer
all such things have this potential
in the Awe of the Universe

I'm looking up which of your poems could I translate into greek, work I have already done for a lot of other poets. (Report)Reply

    Aloha Dimitrios...

It is so rewarding for me to have you visit and read a few words of these prose that I post... Some are better than others... and there is a bigger body of works on the www I do realized that you are extremely busy... and at times IAM also... To have you express an interest as you have done so in helping in this is wonderful and awesome... There is no one post that I can suggest... for the translation is the most important part... Is a word for word translation possible that will take the entire write into a communicable prose in the Greek? Should one of these writes of mine allow that, this would be very special to me... Perhaps then, some of my acquaintances from my earlier daze may recognize those as my words... I worked in Saudi Arabia for many years, one of the companies within my projects was Basmah... and the construction management staff were all men from Greece... they were a great group of men... and later, in early 2000's, I was able to build the foundation of the home of one of the Tsakopoulos brothers in Sacramento, California... George and Angelo sat and spoke with our crew in the olive garden beside the site on many occasions... and these men were some special folk... but one of the more important acquaintances was Giorgio Modena (chief draftsman) Dhahran Engineering Department, Aramco... He was an invaluable mentor... so I do have a high stake on the table... I offer my entire body of work for your use... I humbly thank you for this offer... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two

    Aloha Kumarmani...

I thank you good sir, for this visit, read, and for your very concise and most educated comments... I offer this to you... take this post and copy to file... center justify, highlight text... and consider the probability that the true form of this write... is possibly both upside down and backward... a matter of perspective with the thought of the universe paramount in the mind... for truly, exactly how are we, or more specifically, how is our planet hung... in the greater scheme of things... as in what direction is up? For indeed, most of our species does so walk on their heads! IAM currently making an effort to more closely review the bards that read me... it is of a curious politeness that I do this... You, my kind friend are well read, consistently receiving accolades for your works... impressive... and some of these posts mirror closely my most personal thoughts... I would ask of you... should there be some post of mine, that you see value in... Would you kindly consider possibly translating it... in the tongue of your Grandfather', and flying it? Nothing for me as gain is at all necessary... IAM more modestly interested in syntax... as in can my words be arranged so that the online translation tools will perfectly translate, a word for word example of my prose... We, have so much worth to share with the readership and the universe... and our works of words do have the potential to bring our thoughts into play... on that basis... as once flown... these words will survive the all of time... I thank you again for your most kind comments... All of the best from this life, to you, and all of your relations... Michaelw1two
