Thinking Loud Poem by Satish Verma

Thinking Loud

You were urging
yourself to hold my hand
in flames.

Always staying with
cipher to know my price
trading my skill.

Life on the terms
of tall claims, I will
not leave you in the jungle
of horns.

You want to wear
my life, giving your soul.
How would you define the relationship?

A path will not
forget you ever, where you fell
to become a marigold.

Time demands loyalty.
I have no other religion.
