Third Eye Blind Poem by Lynn Anne Brown

Third Eye Blind

Five years past
Where I could not see
The spirits of love and kindness
That had always been close to me
I could not stand to be with folk
A simple conversation
Seemed to much to ask of me
It might sound selfish
But I could neither give more
Or take more
Than I did
And now that eye long closed
Has been opening again
Visiting me with visions
Of Hope and joy
Sacred opportunities
