Aloha Nadia...
If you thirst
for true love
that is like
pure fountain water,
that feels like
a misty wonderful day,
that brings life
even to dry hay
or that is rather,
like a trickling drizzle
or breezy rain shower,
one that engulfs
your mind with an
astounding surprise
or may even be
as a diamond or jewel;
like the chilling hail
that makes you shiver
on a very warm day;
Then you are
not alone in
your painful longing;
For the desert
is thirsty too
so don't coo;
The deep ocean
is eager as well,
for pure sweet water
and wants...
To gulp purity,
but cannot have at all;
the peaks of mountains
are also thirsty;
every now and then
though they might be
covered with snow;
snow being frozen water
and like you
its frozen too;
yet the ice on the peak
of a mountain melts
from early spring to summer;
But you are not thirsty,
you do not melt...
because your frozen heart
is killed.
