Today is Father's Day
But Dad's no longer here,
He had to go and leave us
When we all loved him so dear.
But, Dad, you've not forgotten
Nor will you ever be,
Because we sure do miss you
And love you, oh so dear.
We wish you were still with us
But we know you had to go,
Cause God felt He needed you
More than us below.
We know that we will see you
Again before too long,
But know that we still love you
And wish that you were here.
