Although I never had a father who taught me wrong from right
I had a lot of family who never treat me right
I never had father figure to confide too
But I had a few friends who know what I've been through
And yes! ! ! I was the black sheep in my family
And I know a lot them couldn't stand me
I'm still coughing up water for when they let me drown
I'm still embracing the pain from when they let me down
Believe it or not I wanted to make you proud
But you never to took the time to come and hear me out
And now I'm 19 becoming 20 in a few months
And I still don't know what the f**k is fatherly love
Sorry for my language but I'm speaking the truth
But being neglected your whole life is still child abuse
Even though I'm a victim Imma play my part
By writing down my pain directly coming from my heart
My life is kinda sad and sometimes its bleak
But being alone motivates me to stop being weak
I'm stronger now so you won't get to see me cry
And I stop giving up before I even try.
I'm getting tired so this is where my story ends
And I'll give them the opportunity to make amends.
