This Is Us Poem by jasmine dugas

This Is Us

What you is to me, is what the stars is to the sun
We're different but together we're one
From the rising of the moon to the setting of the sun
Your my thirst, my first
Your my chorus, your my verse
And this is us
What you is to me, is what the moon is to the sky
My other half, my sidekick, my ride or die
Alone I'm weak, but with you im strong
I can climb any peak and play any song
Alone I'm cold but with you I'm warm
I was lost but now I've been reborn
This is us
What you is to me, is what paper is to pin
You complete me from the beginning to the end
Against water, against wind we're a force to be rechonded with
Together we're one and this is us
