This Is War ! - Poem by Sam Franco

Mother said; ;"My poor, unfortunate, challenged son,
Born with weak leg and with weak arm.
Fate doesn't discriminate against you,
It lays you down in the path of harm.
This is war!
You must fight!
Not with fist but with heart!
You must do so from the arduous start!
Rise from your fall,
Until you can no more!
Walk your journeys until,
You can only crawl!
And then crawl!
Crawl until you hear death's pestilent roar!
And then be born, my son.
And then crawl some more.
And then you'll walk.
And then you'll run!
And then your private war with fate will be won!
