This Is What I Would Tell Her Poem by cebolenkosi kubheka

This Is What I Would Tell Her

My heart is not
A flight
My body is nor airport
But, each time I see you
MY heart takes off

It's strange...
Biology, anatomy
You name them
They explain
How the mind is motionless
But I swear each time
I look into your eyes
My mind goes on a trip

I am no photographer
But, I can picture you and I together
My mind is no art gallery
But should it be revealed to you
You'd find that it is filled
With pictures of you and I together
If the impossible was to become possible
And I was given a chance
To rearrange the alphabets
I'd put U and I together

Well I've been doing a lot of thinking
lately, will either of us
Get arrested if we commit a crime?
simultaneously
As in you steal my heart
And I steal yours

All I wanted was to find
A way to your heart
But, I couldn't help it
but notice that your face
looks good
So I got lost in your eyes

If my life was a calculation
Adding together everything
That I need in my life
It all equals to you

If I was to be described
As an equation
Then you would be the solution
To that equation
I guess you need me as much
As I need you
Because no solution can exist
Without an equation
And an equation that has no solution
Does not exist,
So let's help each other out
So that both of us can exist
