This Is What Love Does - Poem by Sunsha Wilson

Darkened souls
Like bullet holes
This is what love does.
It gives you stress
Up in your chest
This is what love does.
So when it rains
You think here comes the pain
This is what love does.
The water in the eyes
The very exhausted sighs
This is what love does.
The love started as a fiend
But at some point it came to an end
This is what love does.
The fuss and the fight
To keep the peace with all your might
This is what love does.
The emotional heartache
And the extreme heartbreak
This is what love does.
